Favorite Shirt draws inspiration from the classic polo shirt. The pattern is designed for woven fabrics and features a simple collar and a chest pocket. The shirt has no closure; it simply slips on over the head. With no difficult techniques, it’s an ideal project for both beginners and experienced sewists looking for a quick make.

Our purpose is to enable and inspire people to sew. We believe in the timeless value of craftsmanship and see sewing as a powerful way to reduce garment consumption while creating something meaningful.

This pattern has a relaxed fit, designed to have an oversized silhouette. The shirt is pulled on over the head, so it requires a generous chest width and deep armholes.

This shirt is designed to have approximately 36cm ease.

Measure around the widest part of your chest and add ease to your measurement. Compare your result with "Chest" in the chart below.

For this pattern you need following materials

Fabric (based on a 150 cm wide fabric)

XS: 1,60m

S: 1,64m

M: 1,68m

L: 1,72m

XL: 1,75m

Add 7-10% for shrinkage

You also need 20cm interfacing for the facing. A a woven type of interfacing is recommended, e.g. Vlieseline G710 (55 g/m².
