FAMILY BUCKET HAT is a classic all-weather hat with lining. A wardrobe staple in an active lifestyle. The size range covers most of the family running from 2 yrs to a size large. The hat can be made reversible.

Choose fabric based on intended use. Waterproof fabrics, like oilskin, will give you a functional rain hat. Thrifted fabrics are great to use for this project as well as scraps and discarded textiles from the household.

Pattern includes sizes XXS (52cm), XS (54cm), S (56cm), M (58cm) and L (60cm)

Pick size after circumference of the head and allow approximately 2-3 cm of ease.

The pattern is made for woven fabrics and works best in medium to heavy weight fabrics such as cotton canvas, denim or corduroy. Lighter fabrics will need interlining on the brim for a sharp result.

We recommend oilskin for autumn/winter
